JJ Achieves Significant Milestone With Ty Coryton Team

🌟 Achievement alert! 🌟

Following two months of intensive work alongside his care team at Ty Coryton, JJ recently enjoyed his first day out in the community for over three years! While he has explored the local area in the comfort of a car, on this occasion, he built up the courage to exit the vehicle and enjoy the afternoon in a local Cardiff park!

JJ absolutely loved his day out and did a great job of not only being in close contact with large numbers of the general public and their dogs but also interacting and engaging with them!

None of this would have been possible without the incredible teamwork of his Class Teacher and Care Team at Ty Coryton, who worked tirelessly to build JJ’s trust and develop his ability to share spaces with others.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported JJ throughout this process, from his care team who supported him on the day out to the wider team who conducted the necessary risk assessments behind the scenes.
