Natasha Davies Reaches UK Final of the Great British Care Awards

Orbis Education and Care is thrilled to announce that our PBS Practitioner, Natasha Davies, will be representing us at the 2025 Great British Care Awards.

The awards, which will be held at the ICC in Birmingham, recognise those who work in the care sector and honour and celebrate people who have demonstrated excellence in their field of work.

Natasha, who works at Summergil House in Presteigne, has been recognised for demonstrating an innovative approach to empowering people to have more control over the support they need in their lives. She was successful in 2024 where she won the Putting People First Award at the regional awards which were held at the Marriot Hotel in Cardiff and will now go through to represent Orbis at the UK awards in her respective category.

Having started working at the school, Natasha has made a huge impact to Summergil House, which consists of a team of creative education, care and therapeutic professionals who help our children feel safe and respected whilst helping them develop into independent young people and adults.

She has demonstrated an exceptional approach to working with our pupils and has created successful ways in which they can develop their skills in both educational and everyday life.

We’re thrilled that Natasha has been nominated for the Putting People First award at this year’s Great British Care Awards and wish her the best of luck. Everyone here at Orbis Education and Care is rooting for her and we are all incredibly proud of the hard work she puts into our pupils every day.
