Promoting Independence and Money Management Skills in the Community

The young people at Summergil House love heading out on day trips to explore the local community and visit various parks, theme parks and local beauty spots.

On recent outings, the young people have been supported to pay for their own delicious treats when shopping to encourage the development of their independence and money management skills.
