Summergil Schools Unique Outdoor Learning Experience

At the recent meeting for the Summergil School’s Eco Committee and School Council, members were given the opportunity to vote on the topic they would most like to learn about throughout the month of September.

While there was an array of interesting topics to choose from, “Conkers” came out as the overwhelming winner and became topic of the month!

Throughout September, pupils engaged in a range of fun and informative activities with conkers. From conker maths to picking the perfect conker and separating the seed from the shell to creating conker liquid detergent and soap bars (yes, soap made from conkers!).
