Thank you, Dean Thomas!
On Sunday, we say goodbye to Dean Thomas, who is also celebrating his 15-year anniversary with Orbis.
Dean started as a support worker in children’s services when Orbis opened their very first home. He then moved on to work in Ty Coryton School and finally settled at The Old Vicarage for the last few years of his time here.
Dean is one of the most genuine and kind people you could ever meet. He is someone who was truly born for the role of support worker! Dean has brought enthusiasm, creativity, consistency, commitment and just a bit of silliness to every single shift he has worked. His hobbies of walking and music have helped him to connect with many young people and adults. If you could measure the positive impact a support worker has on the individual’s they support, Dean’s would be off the charts.
Dean has touched the lives of so many individuals, families and colleagues across his time at Orbis. We hope you will all join us in raising a glass and thanking Dean for 15 years of passionate care and support.
Thank you for all that you’ve done at Orbis, and good luck for the future!
From your colleagues at Orbis and the individuals you have supported.
