As one of our latest services, West Cross was transformed prior to its opening in October 2023 to be able to cater to the specific needs of future residents that we support.
We support young people to be active and valued members of their community through a model of education and care that is underpinned by Positive Behaviour Support, which ensures that positive behaviour and learning are celebrated, repeated and reinforced.

History
Mumbles is a charming seaside village with a rich history, located at the gateway to the stunning Gower Peninsula in Swansea, Wales.
Once a vital fishing and limestone quarrying hub, the village has evolved into a popular destination known for its picturesque coastline and vibrant community. Mumbles takes its name from the French word "mamelles," referring to the two distinctive islands off its coast, once used as landmarks for sailors.
Visitors can explore Oystermouth Castle, which dates back to the 12th century, stroll along the historic pier, or enjoy the village’s mix of boutique shops, cafés, and local seafood. With its blend of history, scenic beauty, and welcoming atmosphere, Mumbles offer a fantastic place for our residents to enjoy, play and thrive.
